Fonteverde is renowned for several things, but the Thermal Spa is by far one of the most popular attractions. Enjoy a world of revitalising treatments such as spa mud wraps for detoxifying and anti-inflammatory results, mineral water therapy that enables proper gastrointestinal functioning, inhalation treatments indicated for chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract and upper airways.

Thermal therapeutic mud
The thermal mud consists of a mix of natural clays and spring water, left to naturally mature for at least 6 months. Before being used it is heated to 47° C and then taken directly to the cabins for the treatments. Thermal mud is a powerful anti-inflammatory that relaxes muscles and oxygenates tissue. When it is applied, it stimulates perspiration, with beneficial detoxifying and pain-relieving effects.

Thermal mineral-water treatment beverage
Drinking the natural thermal waters of the Santa Lucia spring makes up an important part of every spa treatment. The beverage is highly recommended for helping the gastroenteric system work properly, as a preparation for other treatments and therapies.
